Portland Place
46 units of new affordable urban housing helped revitalize a 2-block area of an older Minneapolis neighborhood. Portland Place is a diverse design mix of townhomes, twinhomes, and single family homes - all around a large landscaped common area and play space. The buildings' designs fit well with other large Victorian structures in the neighborhood. Each block includes a well-lighted interior roadway which gives the feeling of "backyard" community and security. Flannery Construction worked with the Developer, Architect and Owner on value engineering to get and keep the project in budget. All 46 units sold immediately.
