Mai Village Restaurant

The 20,000 square-foot Mai Village Restaurant is the only traditional Vietnamese Restaurant in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Its traditional design was selected to evoke a classic Vietnamese atmosphere. Flannery Construction’s craftsmen took extra care in installing the wall murals and hand carvings to ensure perfect joints and a seamless appearance. The dramatic pagoda that is the focal point of the restaurant involved detailed gold leaf application. The second floor of the building is utilized as a museum and office space.

Western Bank

Flannery Construction created a new home for this St. Paul landmark institution at the previous Western Bank location just west of Dale Street on University Avenue. The new two-story structure is now home to Western Bank and to the Neighborhood Development Center (NDC) offices. The building fits seamlessly into the historic urban fabric of the neighborhood utilizing brick, stone and high, classically arched windows reminiscent of nearby historic buildings.
