Projects: Public/Non-profit
Project for Pride in Living Service Center and Headquarters
Flannery Construction built the Project for Pride in
Living (PPL) headquarters on Lake Street in Minneapolis
for this thirty-year-old non-profit institution that wanted
to consolidate multiple program facilities into one building.
Their comprehensive renovation of a three-story vacant
building into efficient office and meeting space involved
elevator installation, new storefront windows and a 3,000
square-foot second floor expansion over the original first
story roof. A two-story sun room entry was added at the
rear of the building as well as an ENERGY STAR rated
white roof system that has significantly reduced the
building’s cooling costs. Flannery Construction worked
closely with PPL and their architects and engineers to
bring this project in within budget.
